Gran Bazán Limousin Roble

Description
The hand harvested and selected grapes from our own state (30 year-old vines) were destemed and very gently crushed. The resulting dough (juice, skins and flesh) was cooled below 8°C and transferred to our crio-macerators were a prefermentative maceration of 12 hours in a reductive atmosphere using dry ice took place. The free run musts were separated and fermented at 18ºC with indigenous yeasts for 16 days. The resulting wine was matured in barriques for 6 months. In this cuvee, we used French –Allier oak barriques of 2 volumes: 225 , 500 litres with several ages.
Tasting notes
Bright yellow with golden steaks. The nose is very complex with rich traces of aniseed herbs, ripe fruit , floral , spicy varietal with smoky touches. Rounded and fresh palate, excellent structure, saline traces and hint of citrus fruit flesh , very long.
